A Very successful year in the hot seat of Tenerife. Our preseason expectation was only to stay clear of relegation and we succeeded in managing this very easily, and even managed to win the Copa del Rey against Barcelona and qualified for European football.

Tenerife won a free kick down by the corner flag on 10 minutes, but instead of swinging the ball into the packed box, it was rolled to the edge fro Govier to smash into the top corner. (0-1)

Green opened the scoring on 11 minutes. He played a delightful 1-2 with Santo and curled the ball past the keeper. (1-0)
Hernandez doubled the lead on 16 minutes, lashing a daisy cutter into the bottom corner. (2-0)

Guido Verdi returns to the starting 11 for this game following his long lay off with and Achilles problem.
